AZO dyes are usually used as vivid colouring agents found in most brightly coloured fabrics. Due to the potential release of aromatic amines, such dyes are mutagenic, carcinogenic and sometimes allergenic. AZO dyes are not biodegradable and are difficult to remove from our ecosystem. Since 2003, all European Union countries have prohibited the manufacture and sale of consumer goods containing AZO dyes.
At Bagnetic we are proud to say our bags do not contain this toxic chemical and we support the banning of this chemical in Euruope, and expect North America will follow suit.
Bagnetic is made overseas: Philippines, Malaysia and India. Once products are recieved here in Canada, we assemble the products right here in Canada. We take the initiative and fly to the factory/warehouses and see the working conditions for ourselves. We work with our suppliers to ensure: No child labour, Fair wages, Cleanliness and Safe Working Conditions. This is done by certifications and laws that the factories must follow by their local governments.
We have a few customers that want printing and labeling done from China due to costs. We do the same steps as above to ensure quality and safety to our customers.
Bagnetic is one of a kind. The proprietary bag gives Bagnetic its competitive advantage and no other store sells bags like this.
